Starting with the role

Currently we are searching to hire an Exports Account Manager responsible for driving sales growth of the company's products (finished branded lubricants, private label, and raw materials) across existing and new international markets, in line with the company's commercial objectives.

During your day you will:

  • Maintain, monitor, and grow the existing client portfolio. The holder is responsible for each client's commercial, pricing, credit, compliance, and marketing policy, as well as ensuring adherence to agreements across their network
  • Identify and open new international markets, countries, and clients. Manage the sales funnel end-to-end through to client onboarding. Gather the necessary data and research new markets to promote product sales through the most suitable channel
  • Analyze sales data for products within their remit, monitor competitor activity, and make the decisions needed to drive more effective sales promotion
  • Recommend the issuance, signing, or renewal of Cooperation Agreements with company clients (existing and new), provided the company's partnership terms and conditions are met
  • Submit product development proposals to the Technical Department to support sales growth
  • Need to demonstrate flexibility with travel 
  • Prepare general documentation as needed for client-related matters (onboarding new clients, extending payment terms, adjusting credit limits and payment terms)
  • Coordinate the resolution of issues related to order fulfillment
  • Prepare all necessary reporting (sales reports, budget planning, business plan reviews, ad hoc reports, etc.) to keep company management fully informed
  • Identify potential QHSSE risks in day-to-day activities and operations, report risks and actively participate in risk-reduction initiatives
  • Implement and support sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact and adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and incidents
  • Conduct cleanliness inspections to maintain a high standard of environmental compliance across the workplace

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics/Finance or Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position. Previous experience in international Sales is highly preferred
  • Experience in lubricant sales will be considered an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of English. Good knowledge of French as a second foreign language will be highly valued
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems
  • Very good computer skills, proficient in using Word and Excel
  • Driving license
