Title:  Finance & Accounting Associate

The Company

Airlift was established in 1999 and is considered as one of the pioneers in helicopter operations in Greece. Since then, the company has accomplished to offer high level of services in the VIP aerial business, ensuring safety and discretion.

 

Starting with the role:

Airlift is looking to hire a Finance & Accounting Associate to support Company’s finance/ accounting activities as well as contract management, based in Aspropyrgos area.

During your day you will:

•    Perform all accounting activities
•    Ensure the proper and in time processing of vendor invoices and their payment
•    Ensure customer invoices issuance in a timely manner 
•    Perform reconciliations on a monthly basis for: 
o    monthly balance sheet results (including forecasts)
o    key vendors and customer accounts, including maintenance accounts
o    bank accounts
o    cash flows
o    payments and receipts
•    Participate in the preparation and management of sales and purchases contracts
•    Contribute to the preparation of annual budget
•    Handle the proper processing of expense reports
 

What you need to stand out:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or related discipline
•    Master’s degree will be considered a plus 
•    At least 2 years professional experience in accounting 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and particularly in Excel 
•    Verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English
