Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire a R&D Greases Expert.

The purpose of this role is to support the product development team in creating innovative grease formulations, while also providing technical assistance to both the sales team and customers. This entails conducting research on base oils, additives, and thickeners, as well as understanding customer-specific needs in order to deliver tailored solutions.

During your day you will:

• Develop new greases formulations, search and evaluate technically and economically the raw materials of greases
• Organize and conduct tests on the pilot system, in collaboration with the Grease Production team and Packaging Technical Operators, to optimize the production process and develop new products
• Collaborate with internal teams and develop customized product solutions tailored to specific customer needs
• Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and technical documentation for developed products. (Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets, labels, product catalogues)
• Analyze market needs and competitor products to identify new opportunities for innovation
• Lead innovation projects aimed at creating unique, market-leading greases
• Record and report technical trends for greases to sales and marketing team
• Provide technical support to the sales department and customer regarding the technical suitability of the products
• Collaborate with sales, marketing teams to address customer inquiries and technical challenges & technical stability products
• Provide technical support and expertise during customer visits, product launches, and field trials.
• Ensure all R&D activities comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Participate & represent the company at technical events, exhibitions, and conferences, showcasing the latest developments and innovations in grease formulations

What you need to stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in R&D focused on lubricating greases, grease industrial production or on greases quality control or a similar field
• Previous experience in grease formulations, testing methods, and field applications is essential
• Strong knowledge of base oils, additives, thickener systems (lithium, calcium, polyurea, etc.), and their interactions. will be considered a plus
