The Company

OFC is a joint venture between Motor Oil (Hellas) Corinth Refineries S.A., AVIN OIL S.A., Skytanking NV, and Hansaconsult GmbH. OFC is also among Europe's high-standard aviation fuel supply facilities.

Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire a Piping Engineer, to join our team at OFC TECHNICAL S.A, a subsidiary of OFC, to be responsible for supervising all piping activities of the site, including the proper installation and testing of fuel piping systems in compliance with aviation standards, to ensure compliance with design and quality requirements.

The job is based at Kastelli in Crete.

During your day you will:

  • Manage installation of aboveground and underground fuel piping systems
  • Verify alignment, welding, and support installation according to standards
  • Coordinate hydrostatic testing, flushing, and pigging operations
  • Prepare and review isometric drawings and test packages
  • Oversee welding and NDT activities
  • Ensure compliance with airport and fuel system specifications
  • Maintain a daily log of piping activities and manpower
  • Report on progress, defect, and corrective actions to the Site Engineer

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience managing fuel piping system installation and testing
  • Strong knowledge of standards and codes for fuel piping system design and installation
  • Knowledge of procedures for hydrostatic testing, flushing, and pigging
  • Knowledge of Airport and fuel system safety regulations and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to safety and airport fuel system standards
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
