Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire an On-Site PV Supervisor based in Thessaloniki who will be responsible for the planning and supervision of PV O&M activities taking place in Central Macedonia region. Such activities include engineering, operation, maintenance and upgrade works of the company’s RES portfolio, according to technical, health and safety standards.
During your day you will:
- Identify, organize, and keep track of maintenance & upgrade needs.
- Be responsible for planning and overseeing site activities (including preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades and new projects)
- pursue to meet MORE targets regarding production and availability, as well as MORE standards regarding health and safety of own personnel, subcontractors and the environment
- Monitor RES assets operation and performance through SCADA systems and platforms
- Actively participate in procurement processes (identification of needs, local market search, issuance of purchase orders, reception of services or equipment)
- Stay always up to date with the PV maintenance business
- Be responsible for the local spare part warehouse and logistics
- preventive or corrective maintenance. Your actions are expected to play a significant role in restoring assets’ production and optimal performance.
- Report or Escalate incidents to the PV Regional Supervisor or Electromechanical Infrastructure Supervisor as needed
- Support the PV Regional Supervisor and the Electromechanical Infrastructure Supervisor on supervising & evaluating subcontractors’ maintenance activities and providing recommendations for improvement
- Prepare techno-economical studies for maintenance or upgrade projects on the PV portfolio
- Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports for upper management, accompanied by required actions and improvement recommendations.
- Implement safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures to protect own and subcontractor's personnel, equipment, and the environment adhering to MORE's QHSSE Policy, safety regulations and maintenance standards
- Performs on site visits in order to:
- evaluate maintenance activities from a technical perspective
- assure that all health and safety measures are in place
- Liaise with respective state and other authorities / utilities / operators regarding operation procedures and other technical requests
- Support the handover of new projects to the O&M dept.
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering field
- Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance (preferably) or construction of RES projects
- Knowledge of industrial applications/ (e.g. SCADA, CAD, CMMS, SAP)
- Familiarity with Electricity Distribution Network and Transmission System codes and standards
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel and Power Point
