We are looking for a well-organized Site Engineer with strong leadership skills to join our growing team!

Main Responsibilities

• Leads the local Site Technicians team and manages site equipment
• Supervises on-site civil/electro-mechanical works and measurements
• Coordinates external contractors/subcontractors and maintains records of on-site works done by them at the waste management facilities
• Monitors the operation and performance of the waste management construction sites, through monitoring systems
• Ensures the implementation of the health and safety standards within the relevant facilities and substations, being in close cooperation with the QHSSE Expert
• Monitors the spare parts inventory at the local warehouse and is accountable for replenishments and additional orders, as per need
• Evaluates the civil studies and drawings of the project

Main Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Master’s degree will be considered an asset
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant roles at a construction site
• Experience in working on public construction would be considered an asset
• Knowledge in using remote monitoring systems
• Familiarity with Health & Safety standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal
