Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in Perama, Athens.
During your day you will:
- Ensure compliance with loading rules and procedures for liquid chemicals and fuels into tanker trucks
- Monitor the facility's systems (Inlet/Outlet, DCS, PLC) on a daily basis to ensure the smooth and safe operation of loading activities
- Perform the daily scheduling of the receipt, transfer and loading of liquid fuels and chemicals to and from vessels
- Monitor measurement, sampling and chemical analyses to ensure the quantitative and qualitative control of cargoes handled through pipelines and storage tanks
- Work closely with the Technical Department to plan maintenance activities based on the operational needs of the facility
- Actively participates in the implementation of new technical projects from an end-user perspective, throughout all stages of project execution
- Perform duties as Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and Shore Officer, depending on the operational needs of the facility
- Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team at the Perama and Ikonio facilities
- Participate as a member of the Fire Safety Team at the Perama and Ikonio facilities
- Contribute to the successful implementation of the facility's HSSE plan
- Monitor and issue Work Permits
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience in the oil & gas industry will be considered an asset
- Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel and MS Project
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
