Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire an On-Site Supervisor to plan and supervise on-site activities for our assets in Florina.  The position is based in Florina or Kozani depending on the selected candidate’s residence

During your day you will:

  • Be responsible for the daily planning and overseeing of site activities (regarding for example control buildings, substations, grid lines), to meet MORE’s targets, ensuring that all health and safety measures are in place for own personnel and subcontractors
  • Monitor power generation assets’ scheduled maintenance activities daily, by collecting information from the different SCADA systems and platforms used for each project.
  • Perform 1st level troubleshooting actions to restore production and assets to optimal performance, including wind turbines, substations, and grid lines, escalates incidents to the Wind Regional Supervisor or Electromechanical Infrastructure Supervisor as needed, and accompanies OEM personnel to wind turbines if required
  • Support the Wind Regional Supervisor and the Electromechanical Infrastructure Supervisor on supervising & evaluating subcontractors’ maintenance activities and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Support preparation of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports for upper management, accompanied by required actions and improvement recommendations.
  • Implement safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures to protect own and subcontractor's personnel, equipment, and the environment adhering to MORE's QHSSE Policy, safety regulations and maintenance standards
  • Perform on site visits in order to:

-              evaluate maintenance activities from a technical perspective

-              assure that all health and safety measures are in place

  • Communicate with respective State and regulatory authorities regarding technical issues related to assets’ operations

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering field
  • Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience in maintenance or construction activities for power generation assets/ renewables and RES infrastructures
  • Knowledge and execution of industrial computer systems (e.g. SCADA) and project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
  • Familiarity with Electricity Distribution Network and Transmission System codes and standards
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel and Power Point
