Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire an Asset Management Supervisor who will be responsible for ensuring contract compliance and management for the operating portfolio of renewable assets, optimizing asset performance, providing strategic insights and improving operational efficiency and decision-making.
During your day you will:
- Ensure compliance of OEM/ Service Providers with contractual obligations by managing technical and financial aspects of the contracts
- Lead contract renegotiation initiatives based on market trends and conditions, past performance, and operational needs to protect rights and drive performance and cost optimization
- Drive the budgeting process for the operating renewable assets, monitoring budget deviations and proposing asset-specific remedial actions
- Perform assessment for repowering/ revamping and maintenance strategies as the assets near the end of their useful life
- Supervise contract management and relevant invoice processing within the ERP system, collaborating with the Procurement, Finance Operations and Operations & Maintenance Sections
- Provide site-specific and portfolio-wide strategic insights to the Head of Portfolio Management and the Management Team to support informed decision-making
- Manage the end-to-end process of insurance and warranty claims, supporting negotiations for new or renewed insurance contracts in collaboration with MOH’s Insurance Department
- Coordinate and support projects aimed at improving operational effectiveness, technological infrastructure, and synergy exploitation
- Prepare comprehensive reports for both internal and external stakeholders
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in an asset management role within the Energy sector (renewables, electricity, oil & gas etc.)
- Previous experience in supervising a team
- Understanding of technical, commercial, financial and regulatory requirements for asset operations
- Technical optimization of operating assets
- Understanding of Energy Markets operations
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel and Power Point
