Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching to hire a Back Office Associate to join our Energy Management & Trading department.

 

As Back Office Associate you will manage the transactions’ life cycle, including quality assurance, submission of relevant confirmations and completion of reporting requirements.

During your day you will:

  • Be responsible for capturing all transactions performed by the Energy Management and Energy Trading Sections and manage their life cycle.
  • More specifically:

- Perform quality check of deals reported by Front Office and RES Market Operations

- Ensure exchange and signature of Deal Confirmations with counterparties

- Provide all required information to Finance Operations Section for invoicing purposes

- Perform all necessary reporting activities (REMIT/EMIR)

- Perform reconciliations between invoiced and expected amounts - Communicate with counterparties to solve any discrepancy

  • Support in the development of improvement recommendations on transactions monitoring processes, reporting tools and methodologies

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or other related field
  • Master’s degree will be considered a plus
  • 0-2 years’ experience preferably in the Energy sector
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools, especially Excel
  • Excellent command of the English language
