Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching for a Building Manager to ensure the smooth, efficient and safe operation of a group of corporate offices (buildings) by planning and overseeing maintenance activities, managing tenant relations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and optimizing operational efficiency.
During your day you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building to ensure seamless functionality, conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issue promptly and serve as the primary point of contact for building-related emergencies and escalate issues as necessary to the Supervisor of Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain relationships with tenants and KONKAT Management by promptly responding to their inquiries and requests, while resolving any problems and issues
- Execute the Facilities Services’ agreed plans regarding energy saving initiatives, buildings’ operational efficiency & waste management
- Coordinate and oversee regular building maintenance and repairs, maintain an inventory of necessary supplies and replacement parts, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and keeping detailed record of maintenances performed
- Supervise contractor services and coordinate external contractors and service providers to ensure proper execution and quality of maintenance tasks, janitorial services and repairs
- Define operating schedules for equipment (e.g., HVAC systems, lighting, BMS)
- Prepare sites for new works, including informing employees, coordinating movements, assisting with small office relocations and supervising work progress
- Maintain and update records of building certificates and keep a detailed record of building assets, including equipment and furniture
- Collaborate closely with QHSSE on all relevant matters, such as issuing work permits, identifying hazardous areas/ risks and conducting safety drills
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical ,Mechanical Engineering from a Technological Educational Institute (TEI) , or other related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Facilities Management (hard & soft)
- Strong knowledge in AUTOCAD
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Proficient use of MS Office tools
- Efficient communication and interpersonal skills
