Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire a Business & Investment Senior Analyst who will be responsible for supporting strategic planning, investment analysis, JV monitoring, and M&A execution by delivering models, reports, presentations, insights, and market intelligence aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

During your day you will:

  • Perform strategic planning and investment evaluation, through detailed financial modeling, scenario analysis and risk/opportunity assessments
  • Monitor and report the performance of Joint Ventures and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and value creation targets. Oversee in-depth market, regulatory, and competitor analysis to provide insights that drive informed strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with the Strategy General Division of Motor Oil Headquarters to support the execution of M&A transactions and key strategic initiatives
  • Develop business models for projects in the development pipeline and assess potential M&A opportunities, contributing to high impact presentations for executive leadership
  • Maintain and continuously update comprehensive industry and segment-level models to inform investment strategy and long-term planning

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Management (STEM) discipline
  • A master’s degree in a related field will be considered an asset
  • At least 8 years of broad-view experience of corporate operations and/or strategy within the Energy and/or Utilities sector
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and modelling
  • Deep understanding of energy market trends and operational drivers, new business models and energy business regulation
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools
