Motor Oil Hellas (MOH) is an energy group based in Greece with one of the top refineries in Europe. The company plays a leading role in the sectors of crude oil refining and marketing of petroleum products in Greece, as well as the greater eastern Mediterranean region, supplying its customers with a wide range of high-quality products.
Our exports-driven refinery sells its products in the international market across the globe and works closely with oil majors, trading firms and National Oil Corporations. The Group has also a significant presence in fuel retail networks, in lubricants sector and in the liquified gas sector. In this context, we are searching to hire a Cargo Operator | Supply & Trading, within the Supply and Trading division of Motor Oil Group for oil related products for the international market.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepares, monitors, executes the contracts by coordinating with, clients and other stakeholders, according to Traders instructions
- Responsible for the financial performance of sales and purchase agreements, including cargo and freight invoicing
- Timely and detailed oriented daily operations
- Nominates oil movements and prepare documentation instructions
- Appoints Independent Inspectors where necessary
- Monitors at all times liftings/deliveries performance, be aware of demurrage implications and investigate outturn losses.
- Manages POs and SOs, using the relevant software (Amphora and SAP/HANNA)
- Performs credit reviews for new clients, VIES check, OFAC check
- Analyzes the oil market trends and proposes trading and tender opportunities, providing all necessary details and market specifications
- Prepares real time trading reporting, and monitors company’s price exposure using the company’s MI systems (Amphora, ETRM system)
- Monitors company’s stock availability, as well as Refinery’s needs and supply pattern
- Performs marine tracking and ports’ details to ensure timely delivery of oil products
- Prepares Tender documentation
Main Qualifications
- 2-5 years professional experience within the oil & gas or freight transport, preferably in roles i.e. trading operator, risk and market analyst, oil trader assistant
- Bachelor’s University degree preferably in Engineering, Finance or other numerate discipline
- Master’s degree in one of the abovementioned disciplines will be considered an asset
- Familiarity with SAP ERP and Amphora ETRM will be a plus
- Knowledge of risk management techniques and tools
- Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
