The Company

Starting with the role:
In this context, we are searching to hire an Operator, within the Supply and Trading division of Motor Oil for oil related products for the international market.
During your day you will:
- Prepare, monitor, execute the contracts by coordinating with counterparties and other stakeholders, according to Traders instructions
- Be responsible for the financial execution of sales and purchase agreements, including cargo and freight invoicing
- Execute timely and detail oriented daily operations
- Nominate vessels and prepare documentation instructions
- Appoint Independent Inspectors where necessary
- Monitor at all times liftings/deliveries performance, be aware of demurrage implications and investigate outturn losses.
- Update internal systems (Amphora and SAP/HANNA) with real-time data, enabling accurate monitoring of shipments, inventory, and other key metrics.
- Perform credit reviews for new clients, VIES check, OFAC check
- Analyze the oil market trends and propose trading and tender opportunities, providing all necessary details and market specifications
- Prepare real time trading reporting, and monitor company’s price exposure using the company’s MI systems (Amphora, ETRM system)
- Monitor company’s stock availability, as well as Refinery’s needs and supply pattern
- Perform marine tracking and ports’ details to ensure timely delivery of oil products and prepare Tender documentation
What you need to stand out:
- 2-5 years professional experience within the oil & gas or freight transport, preferably in roles i.e. trading operator, risk and market analyst, oil trader assistant
- Bachelor’s University degree preferably in Engineering, Finance or other numerate discipline
- Master’s degree in one of the abovementioned disciplines will be considered an asset
- Familiarity with SAP ERP and Amphora ETRM will be a plus
- Knowledge of risk management techniques and tools
- Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accountability, results orientation, flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work under pressure and work with strict deadlines
