Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire a Civil Engineering Specialist who will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction of building structures and infrastructure, ensuring project compliance with specifications and standards, reviewing technical studies and proposals and supporting technical and financial aspects of projects.
During your day you will:
- Design and develop technical projects for renewable energy projects and interconnection infrastructure, providing technical support throughout the development and construction phases
- Ensure that projects adhere to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Prepare, assign, and review studies related to the civil works of RES projects and interconnection infrastructure
- Assess technical proposals from contractors and suppliers and review studies/designs delivered by contractors
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across Renewables and Project Development Departments and stay updated with the latest best practices in civil works, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in projects
- Support the preparation of technical specifications
- Provide support during CAPEX calculation of civil works
- Attend site visits and organize meetings with contractors
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in in Civil/Rural Engineering
- Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Sector (Wind Farms, PVs, BESS)
- Experience in geophysical/geotechnical studies
- Knowledge of wind turbine foundations and structural design will be considered a plus
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Proficient use of MS Office tools
