Tallon, an affiliate of Motor Oil, trades energy commodities such as crude oil & products, power & gas, carbon emissions, base metals and shipping derivatives (FFAs). Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching for a Commodity Derivatives Officer to operate across the trading and operations desks. She/he is expected to cover customer flow order execution & reporting and cover any required operations functions related to deal capture and regulatory reporting necessary. The officer is expected to demonstrate team spirit, multi-tasking abilities and flexibility while working in a specialized, designated commodities desk.

During your day you will:

• Cover client trading orders and enquiries
  • Execute trades for a variety of commodity financial markets
  • Follow up with required reporting (Back Office/Operations, Regulator)
• Provide trade support & Processing
  • Deal Capture
  • Dear Reconciliation & Validation
• Oversee Regulatory/Compliance Reporting
  • EMIR/MiFIR Reporting
  • FCA Reporting
• Be responsible for other Operations Tasks
  • Daily Mark-to-Market
  • Daily Confirmations

What you need to stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other related field
• Knowledge of derivatives (futures and options)
• Data analysis skills (Basic programming ability will be considered as a plus
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
• Proficient use of MS Office tools
