Starting with the role:

We are looking to hire a Corporate Development Specialist to join our Strategic Development & New Ventures team. 

 

During your day you will:

  • Conduct industry and new markets research and analysis to identify, assess and propose potential business development targets
  • Assess market research and carry out financial analysis and risk assessments to evaluate business opportunities and their strategic fit to the organization
  • Support the coordination of new business establishment process and related activities e.g. Shareholders’ Agreement negotiation and drafting etc.
  • Participate in projects, Energy and non-Energy related, from a Commercial standpoint by working closely with External Advisors, SMEs, Project Managers & other Experts
  • Contribute to projects related to corporate transformation & improvement to enhance MOH’s efficiency and create synergies where possible
  • Create presentations and other strategic analysis material to facilitate Senior Management decision-making

 

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration
  • Master’s degree in Finance or MBA, preferably, non-compulsory
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a Strategy/Finance/Commercial department of a Group of Companies or in a consulting firm undertaking Corporate Finance/Strategy/M&A projects. Experience of the energy sector will be considered as an asset
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior colleagues
  • Detailed understanding of valuation methodologies. Ability to build & review financial models (e.g. business plans, DCFs)
  • Strong ability in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
