Starting with the role:
We are looking to hire a Digital Marketing Expert to develop and optimize Shell Greece’s digital marketing strategy across owned, earned and paid channels. The role drives brand visibility, customer engagement, loyalty growth and NFR initiatives across a network of approximately 370 Shell stations, while connecting global Shell standards with locally relevant, data-driven campaigns.
During your day you will:
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across SEO/SEM, social media, CRM, email, display and content marketing.
- Manage digital channels and platforms, including websites, Google Business profiles and social media, ensuring strong performance and brand consistency.
- Lead digital campaigns end-to-end, from planning and creative development to execution, localization and optimization.
- Drive loyalty and CRM initiatives, leveraging customer data to deliver targeted journeys, personalized offers and effective lifecycle campaigns.
- Manage social media and content, including content planning, community management, paid amplification and social listening.
- Monitor digital performance and ROI, using KPIs, analytics and dashboards to identify insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Support digital activation across NFR and retail touchpoints, connecting online campaigns with in-station customer experiences.
- Manage agencies and cross-functional partnerships, overseeing briefs, budgets, timelines, deliverables and alignment with global brand standards.
What you need to stand out:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Digital marketing qualification or postgraduate certification is considered advantage.
- Master’s degree will be considered a plus
- Minimum 5 years of progressive digital marketing experience, preferably within FMCG, energy sector or retail environments.
- Deep expertise in performance marketing: Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, PMax), Meta Ads Manager, programmatic buying and affiliate marketing.
- Proven SEO knowledge including technical SEO, local SEO (essential for multi-location retail networks), keyword strategy and on-page optimization.
- Solid understanding of CRM principles, marketing automation platforms and customer lifecycle management.
- Fluency in web analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio / Power BI reporting.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into measurable digital marketing plans.
- Highly analytical and data-literate; comfortable drawing insights from large datasets and communicating them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
