Starting with the role:
Currently, we are searching to hire an E-Commerce Product Executive who will identify new products and negotiate with potential vendors for the e-commerce platform.
During your day you will:
- Act as a buyer for the E-commerce business, identifying new product opportunities and presenting proposals/options to the Buying Head.
- Ensure the optimal execution of the company’s product portfolio strategy based on leadership guidelines.
- Negotiate with suppliers, prepare all contract paperwork, and monitor supplier performance to ensure proper contract execution.
- Monitor competition’s product range, prices and promotions and propose actions to the Buying Head, if needed.
- Monitor Google Analytics and Business Intelligence tools for KPIs, in order to monitor product performance and impact and identify improvement opportunities.
- Handle the product categories’ tree of the e-shop and communicate any improvements to the Buying Head.
- Prepare and monitor a detailed product roadmap, which include key partnerships, delivery dates, major product categories, etc.
- Collaborate with E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Section on content strategy and implement agreed product marketing calendar (e.g. Sales season, Black Friday etc.) and with Logistics Operations Executives to support stock optimization/availability and order placement.
- Identify product sales opportunities in the retail store network in order to increase profitability.
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization would be considered a plus.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Proven track record and achievements on E-commerce.
- Buying experience on E-commerce.
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English languages.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Creative skills (find interesting ways to present information and to generate new ideas).
- Negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
