We are searching to hire EU Affairs Regulatory Expert to join our European Affairs team.

The position is located in Maroussi.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitors and analysis EU legislative and regulatory developments to ensure organization’s compliance with EU and national regulations
• Provides accurate reviews of regulations regarding EU projects
• Develops positions on EU and national policy issues and identifies potential opportunities or risks for the organization
• Collaborates with various stakeholders to develop strategies and assists in lobbying type functions
• Maintains regulatory documentation database

Main Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years professional experience as a regulatory consultant in the energy sector
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in political science, law, economics, public policy, public affairs, engineering  
• Master’s degree in one of the abovementioned disciplines will be considered an asset
• Prior experience in a Brussels’ based EU institution (European Parliament, European Commission, Council) will be preferred
• Proficient use of MS Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French/German
