Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire an Energy Management Analyst who will be responsible for Long-term and short-term assessment, monitoring and management of the Company’s energy portfolio.

 

During your day you will:

  • Assess and monitor the company’s total energy portfolio using forecasting models and trading tools and propose improvements to such models and tools
  • Support the Head of Section in developing short- and long-term optimization strategies in order to protect and enhance portfolio value
  • Execute relevant bidding strategies ensuring accurate submission
  • Analyze relevant market conditions and update respectively senior management
  • Examine all possible alternatives for hedging and sourcing
  • Contribute to the structuring and pricing of long-term financial and physical products
  • Examine possibilities to exploit flexibility embedded in portfolio
  • Cooperate with Energy Traders for the correct and timely execution of trades
  • Cooperate with Energy Origination, RES O&M, Komotini O&M, MOH refinery and NRG ensuring accuracy of information on generation output, nomination quantity and availability of assets
  • Contribute to the maintenance and development of all Energy Management Section’s coding scripts

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or other related field
  • Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience in energy asset management and/or energy retail portfolio management
  • Understanding of Energy Markets operations
  • Knowledge of a programming language or tools for data analysis (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
  • Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel and Power Point
