Starting with the role:

 

We are seeking an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Senior Expert to coordinate the Risk & Controls Assessment (RCSA) process and maintain the Group Risk Register for a consistent risk view across entities, to develop KRIs and risk methodologies, to provide data-driven insights, while advising on Group-wide projects and to ensure compliance with Greek corporate governance requirements.

During your day you will:

 

  • Coordinate and update the Group-wide risk assessment process with group companies and maintain the Group Risk and Controls Register within the ERM system
  • Support the Head of Risk Management in defining and monitoring the Group risk appetite using recognized frameworks like COSO and the 3 Lines Model
  • Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), operating an escalation process to senior management to provide early warnings and prompt mitigation
  • Facilitate risk workshops with business units to understand risks, identify systemic patterns, and target areas requiring intervention
  • Prepare consolidated risk reports, including risk matrices and emerging risks, to provide senior management and the Board of Directors with clear oversight transparency
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in Group-wide projects, ensuring the consistency and alignment of risk topics across the organization.
  • Support compliance with Greek corporate governance requirements (Law 4706/2020) and drive change management to promote a strong risk-based culture.

 

What you need to stand out:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Risk Advisory, Internal Audit, or Risk Management.
  • Prior experience within a consulting firm (Risk Advisory practice) or a large Greek organization with a structured ERM function.
  • Practical experience implementing robust ERM frameworks within the Greek business environment.
  • Strong familiarity with the COSO ERM framework, risk matrices, and scoring methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of Greek corporate governance requirements, specifically including Law 4706/2020.
  • Deep knowledge of establishing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and designing risk appetite frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
