Starting with the role:

We are looking for a Head of Business Analysis (SES) who will be responsible for analyzing energy market trends, conducting business process modeling, scoping and creating robust business cases to assess opportunities and drive strategic decision-making in the electricity and hydrogen sectors.

During your day you will:

• Be responsible for coordinating and conducting modelling of business processes and technoeconomic models to assess commercial and new business opportunities for Group companies, focusing on Electricity and Hydrogen markets
• Scope, create and present business cases for new opportunities or operational changes by evaluating scenarios and methodologies to provide alternative solutions and validate proposals
• Monitor and analyze key market changes and trends in energy retail, networks, and regulation for Electricity and Hydrogen markets to understand impacts on business stakeholders
• Establish and maintain relationships and communication channels by conducting regular meetings with stakeholders to identify business pain points and facilitate collaboration on energy-related projects
• Monitor and drive scoping and execution of internal consulting projects related to energy markets by communicating with stakeholders and coordinating project delivery to meet business demands
• Drive data analysis, and modelling tools development for energy projects by coordinating data extraction, management, and analysis to provide insights and propose solutions

What you need to stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Master’s degree in engineering or Business related field will considered as a plus
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in energy supply, consulting, management and operations, as well as business analysis within the Energy sector, out of which at least 3 years’ experience in an energy market participant (aggregator, supplier etc), Energy Regulator, Transmission/Distribution Operator, Technical company will be a strong asset
• Proven experience with Project Management working principles
• Very good understanding of key energy business economics
• Fluency in use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Excellent communication skills (both in English & in Greek)
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and a creative approach to problem-solving
