Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching to hire a Head of Logistics who will be responsible for day-to-day management of logistics, warehouse and external customer service teams’ operations and for order management, transportation and import of goods.

During your day you will:

  • Oversee and actively participate in warehouse, logistics and external customer service operations of Core Innovations and propose improvement initiatives to leadership.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize logistics and warehouse processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Be responsible for coordinating warehouse operations and ensure adherence to QHSSE regulations and standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers by coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, logistics and 3PL partners.
  • Oversee the transportation and customs clearance processes for all imports performed by Coral Innovations as well as negotiate contracts with transportation suppliers for inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Ensure timely resolution of operational issues from order to delivery, regarding all orders (e-shop and B2B), including returns and complaints from the customers.
  • Collaborate with external Customer Service team to identify consumer pain points and develop initiatives for enhancing the consumer experience.
  • Monitor and analyze Section’s performance and business key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of logistics and warehouse operations and drive continuous improvement efforts.

 

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization would be considered a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Logistics & Supply Chain Operations preferably in warehouse management 
  • Experience in inventory management and supply negotiations
  • Understanding of supply chain management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software, tools
  • Knowledge of negotiation techniques and strategies for vendor agreements
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English languages.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Excellent negotiation and ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
