Starting with the role:
We are seeking a Head of Security Operations, being responsible for protecting the organization’s digital assets by ensuring continuous visibility and rapid response to cyber threats.
Location: Kato Kifisia
During your day you will:
- Oversee continuous monitoring, timely detection, and effective response to cybersecurity threats and incidents
- Maintain the availability and effectiveness of security infrastructure and tools, including SIEM, EDR, and firewalls
- Lead the organization’s response to security incidents, ensuring timely containment, thorough investigation, and effective recovery
- Integrate threat intelligence into operations to proactively identify and mitigate risks
- Optimize processes, tools, and team capabilities to enhance detection and response maturity
What you need to stand out:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- Master’s degree in information security or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years previous experience in hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident response, threat detection and SOC management
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, defining operational KPIs, and leading high-pressure incident response efforts
- Experience in leading and coordinating responses to major security incidents, including post-incident analysis and executive reporting
- Knowledge of information security standards and best practices
- Strong expertise in SIEM solutions
- Certifications and training in specific defense solutions
- Certified in CISSP, GSOM, GSOC, GCIA, GCIH, GCFA
