Starting with the role:
We are currently searching to hire an IT Network Engineer to join our team, in Marousi premises.
During your day you will:
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring the effective operations of IT Network and services
- Implements changes and upgrades as well, following the change management process
- Monitors connectivity and infrastructure availability, implementing relevant KPIs
- Provides technical support in the IT Infrastructure faults detections, identifications and resolutions
- Contributes to the transition from the traditional practices to hybrid environments and practices
- Monitors and tests service performance for potential bottlenecks and identifies possible solutions
- Measures and analyze traffic metrics to establish performance and capacity baselines
- Proceeds with vendor, outsourcers and contractors’ management to secure network infrastructure and services deliveries
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a related discipline
- Master's degree in Computer Science focused on IT Infrastructure or Networking will be considered as a plus
- 5 years previous experience on IT Networking landscape
- Previous experience leveraging networking with third-party Cloud service providers (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
- Experienced in Cloud platforms, focusing on MS Azure and AWS
- Good knowledge of Network Security and SDWAN technologies
