Title:  IT Security Analyst

Job Description

We are currently searching to hire an IT Security Analyst, for the IT Division of KonKat ATE. The individual will monitor the systems and networks infrastructure, upgrade on premise infrastructure, expanding to Cloud services, as well as maintain the computer networks.

Main Responsibilities

• Consults with business users to gather access requirements and determine the most appropriate access approach, providing innovative solutions that meet current needs while supporting broader business demands
• Oversees system access through key security platforms including EPP, EDR, NDR, FW, IDS/IPS
• Supports security software upgrades, patching, and deployment of new security configurations
• Manages Security Awareness training programs and coordinates internal and external penetration testing
• Liaises with technical partners to ensure implementation of measures aligned with defined business requirements
• Reviews the access violation reports and investigate possible exceptions
• Manages interactions with the MSSP, including SOAR platform activities and security ticket handling
• Complete daily reporting and security tasks, updates, and processes to ensure that users access and controls hold after nightly updates

Main Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline
• MSc degree in Information Security, will be considered as an asset
• 2 years previous experience in Security Engineering Experienced
• Previous experience in first level security incident response, security log monitoring and MSSP/SOC interaction
• Knowledge of information security systems, processes, and controls (CIS Controls, NIST CSF, security frameworks)
• Understanding of International IT Security Standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Framework)
• Familiar with IDS/IPS, NDR, EDR and SIEM technologies
• Knowledge of security controls and processes in IT/OT environments
• Fluency in English and Greek, both oral and written
