Starting with the role:
We are looking for a passionate Junior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team!
During your day you will:
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual Financial Statements under the guidance of senior team members
- Support the preparation of documentation required (working papers and schedules) for the Group’s interim and annual Financial Statements in compliance with IFRS
- Aid with the collection and validation process of financial data, required for management/KPI reporting and variance analysis
- Gather necessary financial data and provide support during internal and external audits by liaising with internal departments in order to address basic audit requests by junior staff
- Monitor and maintain financial reporting databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools
- Provide support in digital reporting, including assisting with automation tools (e.g. Power BI, XBRL reporting or financial reporting software)
- Participate in the preparation of training materials for newly acquired or integrated group companies, helping to standardize accounting practices and align them with group policies
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
- At least one year of working experience in accounting, finance or relevant field
- Understanding of core accounting concepts and fundamental IFRS principles relevant to financial reporting (e.g. revenue recognition, accruals, consolidation basics)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, consolidation software)
- Fluency in English verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to present findings clearly and escalate issues appropriately
- Attention to detail
