Starting with the role:

Currently, we are seeking to hire a Procurement Specialist.

You will be responsible for performance and execution of all activities related to MORE Procurement as per respective strategy and business requirements.

During your day you will:

  • Contribute to the development of the procurement plan to align with MORE’s business requirements and forecasted demands across all sourcing areas with focus on the construction of Photovoltaic Parks and Wind Farms
  • Execute the procurement plan timely and accurately, ensuring conformity with the Procurement Standards
  • Build and maintain the relationship with existing strategic vendors and examines the local and regional market for new vendors/subcontractors
  • Work collaboratively with MORE’s departments to collect, analyze and understand their business needs and respective risks in order to:
  1. Address the procurement requirements with the appropriate procurement strategy
  2. Evaluate vendors, their respective proposals and performance, ensuring their ability to meet MORE’s needs and standards and to deliver the most efficient and cost-effective solutions
  3. Negotiate and monitors contract terms with vendors/ subcontractors and facilitates the resolution of claims and/or complaints to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution
  • Maintain procurement related performance and reporting databases and systems providing insights and recommendations 
  • Ensure that purchasing policies and processes are followed to meet business objectives
  • Perform administration activities regarding procurement assignments

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related field
  • Master’s Degree is considered a plus
  • At least 4 years of working experience within the procurement function in the Renewable industry, preferably in the construction of Photovoltaic Parks and Wind Farms
  • Supply Chain Management or Procurement certification will be preferred
  • Knowledge of using supply chain management software and tools, including SAP
  • Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal
  • Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
