Starting with the role:
We are seeking for a highly skilled Management Accountant/Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and demonstrate expertise in financial management and reporting.
During your day you will:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes and provide insights for strategic planning.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports.
- Participate in the preparation of Group’s annual and interim Financial Statements, gradually taking ownership of particular workstreams.
- Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard financial integrity.
- Facilitate external and internal audits, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial reporting and accounting procedures.
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, DipIFR) is highly valued.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably gained in a relevant industry (Energy Sector).
- Strong understanding of IFRS and its application in financial reporting.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in analytical and reporting tools, advanced Excel (including VBA), and ERP systems (SAP/SAP BW preferred).
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
