Starting with the role:

The purpose of the role is the development of the network of self-operated gas stations, in accordance with the strategic directions of the company and the needs of the market, as well as the optimal utilization of the existing network in order to gain maximum benefit from each point of operation.

During your day you will:

  • Compose the five-year development plan per region (Master Plan) supported by the Retail team. The plan includes the preferable market areas and black spots of the respective region along with the most significant infrastructure projects and the potential targets for future pipeline.
  • Lead the negotiation process for purchasing or leasing any potential competing gas station and plots as well as act as a focal point between the company and the owners of the properties
  • Carry out field visits to ensure the suitability of potential gas stations and plots. Be responsible for conducting thorough research to support the investment proposal.
  • Be responsible to prepare all the material required for an investment proposal to be submitted to the BoD 
  • Be responsible for the timely and proper implementation of the investment proposals including the relevant agreements, the necessary approvals and the signed contracts
  • Negotiate leases and subleases of the existing network and ensure the proper implementation of the agreed terms of each lease contract in your area of responsibility
  • Monitor the auctions of either already leased properties or new sites and plots, in which the company has an investment interest.
  • Gather all the necessary data (debts, unpaid expenses, contracts, licensing & commercial evaluations) to prepare and present an action plan for participation or non-participation in an auction
  • Analyze and report on a monthly basis the sales and profitability performance of the new sites in conjunction with the respective forecasted elements.
  • Participate in the research for the utilization of unused space for either subleasing or other commercial use

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or economics
  • Master’s or relevant studies in Real Estate will be considered a plus
  • 5 years of experience in the petroleum and Real Estate market
  • At least 3 years of experience in negotiations
  • Basic knowledge of legal matters relating to Commercial Cooperation Agreements, Leases
  • Experience in economic model analysis
  • Fluency in English (proficiency in writing, reading, speaking)
  • Efficient communication and interpersonal skills
