Starting with the role:
We are looking for an Operational Excellence Specialist who will be responsible for provision of enhancements/modifications to MORE’s Operating Model to ensure Organizational Effectiveness and Operational Excellence. Also part of this role is the design of a robust Performance Management Framework (i.e. KPIs, Dashboards, Management Reports etc.)
During your day you will:
- Identify key organizational and effectiveness pain points
- Design and propose initiatives for continuously improving MORE’s Operating Model, from an Organizational Effectiveness & Operational Excellence point of view. More specifically:
- Provide insight for the design/ optimization of the organizational and business model, to ensure adequate segregation of duties and clear ownership/accountability of tasks within MORE’s Departments
- Advises on the design and monitors the implementation of internal procedures and processes
- Identify inter-departmental dependencies and leads the development/revision of the respective policies/processes to optimize efficiency of co-operation and minimize coordination risks
- Analyze business requirements in relation to digital transformation
- Assist in the assessment of partnerships (e.g. JDAs) and updates on progress
- Support post-merger integration projects and leads multiple work streams regarding operational excellence
- Design and propose sets of KPIs and other Business Metrics, establishing the escalation mechanism to ensure proper reporting of KPIs results in collaboration with Business Units and IT
- Support organization and coordination for the transition of projects from their planning and development phase to execution
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance
- Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Management (STEM) discipline will be considered an asset
- At least 3 years of broad-view experience of corporate operations, and transformation projects in the Energy and/or Utilities sector, or within a consulting company
- Experience in Project Management
- Deep understanding of energy market trends and operational drivers, new business models
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Suite (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Visio)
- Strong Project Management skills
- Strategic thinking and sound ability to plan ahead
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability
