Starting with the role:

 

Currently we are searching to hire a Payments & Banking Specialist who will be responsible to handle daily and weekly payments, monitoring and reporting cash balances and short-term liquidity, maintaining accurate bank records and supporting bank account management activities, including KYC processes to ensure seamless financial operations.

During your day you will:

 

 

  • Create payment proposals and execute relevant transactions, following approval.
  • Manage daily ad-hoc payments, including utilities payments and confirmed tax liabilities.
  • Prepare and execute weekly expense payments.
  • Process RES Aggregator (FOSE) payments, confirming new client agreements with the Energy Origination Section, and prepare weekly files for bulk payments.
  • Confirm successful payment completion and promptly inform the Department by updating relevant databases and systems.
  • Create and maintain monthly bank balance records, monthly reports and short-term cash-flow forecasts.
  • Handle bank accounts and communication with banks, including opening/closing accounts, e-banking access creation and renewal, KYC processes and loan disbursements/repayments.
  • Support automation and optimization of payment processes by leveraging and utilizing ERP, and other systems capabilities.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.

What you need to stand out:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or any other related field.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or any other related discipline (preferably - not compulsory).
  • At least 3 years of experience in payments proposals & executions.
  • Knowledge of using financial software and tools, including SAP.
  • Sound Knowledge of finance related Processes and controls.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, especially versed in Excel.
  • Excellent command of the English language (oral and written).
