Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire a Portfolio Management Analyst who will be responsible for conducting comprehensive techno-economic analyses of MORE's RES assets portfolio to provide strategic recommendations.
During your day you will:
- Be responsible for performing analysis for MORE’s operating Renewable Energy Sources (RES) portfolio, including market research, competition assessment and benchmarking.
- Be responsible for ensuring compliance of the O&M Service Providers with contractual obligations, such as provision of technical services, pricing, invoicing, price escalation etc., by technoeconomically monitoring main and supporting contracts for the whole portfolio (>800MW Wind+Solar).
- Handle the end-to-end process of insurance claims & warranties management and participates/ supports negotiations for the initiation or renewal of insurance contracts, in collaboration with MOH’s Insurance Department.
- Participate in the budgeting process for MORE's operating portfolio, monitors budget deviations, proposes relevant remedial actions, and performs analysis including benchmarking, OPEX breakdown, as well as discerning and proposing optimization margins and levers.
- Provide insights and solutions to the Head of Portfolio Management and the Management team for well-justified and informed decisions, aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Support the Head of Portfolio Management in conducting risk assessments from an operational perspective, proposing mitigation actions & monitoring their implementation up to close-out.
- Develop and propose business processes towards improving operational efficiency and applying Asset Management best practices, in cooperation with MORE’s relevant departments, including coordinating relevant initiatives & projects.
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)
- Master’ degree in related field is considered a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in an analytical role within the Energy sector (renewables, electricity, oil & gas etc.)
- Operation of Renewable Assets within the Energy markets’ framework
- Project management
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Project
- Critical thinking
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good persuasion skills, a good networker and a good negotiator
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
