Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire a Project Manager who will be responsible  for initiating, overseeing and coordinating all procedures to ensure necessary licenses are granted regarding upcoming construction projects. Also will be responsible for analyzing data to support identification, evaluation & design of RES projects

During your day you will:

  • Be responsible for managing the end-to-end licensing process of projects
  • Maintain all project related records regarding licensing requirements
  • Liaise & cooperate with public authorities, state organizations, as well as internal and external technical experts and coordinates all respective related parties, in order to obtain local approvals and/ or permits/ licenses required for the RES projects
  • Cooperate with the Real Estate Team towards securing site control for development prospects
  • Cooperate with MOH’s Legal General Division towards handling service provider contracts (e.g., external technical expert) as well as MORE’s participation in public consultations  
  • Cooperate with the Engineering & Construction Section in order to ensure project technical feasibility as well as to support and provide input regarding project licensing, budgeting and scheduling
  • Perform analysis and support the design of new energy project development, including initial site reconnaissance as well as assessment of wind, solar and hydro potential measurements in cooperation with the Energy Studies Team

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical field
  • Master’ degree in Scientific, Technical or Business Administration related field is considered a plus.
  • At least 8 years of relative licensing professional experience with 5 of them in the Renewable Energy Sources field projects accompanied by a proven track-record of projects successfully developed
  • Strong understanding of the development process of renewable energy projects
  • Environmental Impact Studies evaluation knowledge and experience
  • Ability to write effective, concise reports
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel ,Power Point and MS Project
  • Proficient in Autocad and/or GIS Software
  • Efficient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and Time management skills
  • Leadership skills
