Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire for our sales network of company own stores (Shell stations) an Account Manager to be part of a very dynamic team in Thessaloniki and assist on the delivery of our sales plans for the specified portfolio of stations.
During your day you will:
- nsure consistent application of commercial agreements and full delivery of the customer value proposition across allocated stations
- Coache the Retailers, support recruitment and the site allocation processes and maintain a strong succession pipeline within the area of their responsibility
- Ensure Retailers train and develop their staff, emphasizing on customer service excellence and proper execution of operational standards
- Align on annual sales/expense plans with the Retailers, tracks results, and supports action plans to close performance gaps
- Build a strong safety culture, enforce all related procedures and ensures achievement of agreed HSE targets and compliance standards
- Conduct structured visits covering fuels and NFR, including fuel stock, cash, fiscal records, product availability, planogram adherence, FIFO, promotions and expired-product controls
- Represent the company in inspections (e.g., tax, commerce, regulatory bodies), perform inventory audits, and prepare reporting for the Marketing department
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related discipline
- Master Degree will be considered a plus
- At least 3 years of experience in sales as an Account Manager or other similar role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Proficient use of MS Office tools
