Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire a RES Engineering Specialist who will be responsible for designing and developing renewable energy systems, ensuring project compliance with specifications and standards, reviewing technical studies and proposals and supporting technical and financial aspects of RES projects

During your day you will:

  • Design and develop renewable energy systems including solar, wind, and energy storage solutions
  • Ensure that projects adhere to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Prepare, assign, and review studies related to the development of RES projects
  • Assess technical proposals from contractors and suppliers and reviews studies/designs delivered by contractors
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across Renewables and Project Development and stay updated with the latest best practices in renewable energy technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in RES projects
  • Support the preparation of technical specifications and major electrical equipment
  • Provide support during CAPEX calculation of electrical works
  • Attend site visits, FAT and SAT if required
  • Organize & attend meetings with Suppliers and Contractors

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Sector (Wind Farms or PVs)
  • Basic knowledge of MV/HV equipment including switchgear, transformers, protections, underground/OH lines and other MV/HV equipment.
  • Basic experience in power systems for renewable installations, including HV substations.
  • Basic knowledge of Transmission and Distribution system
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
  • Very good knowledge of Autocad, MS Word and Excel
