Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire a RES Engineering Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the development, design, and implementation of renewable energy systems (RES) ensuring technical excellence and compliance.

During your day you will:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on PV systems and other renewable energy technologies
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the Engineering team and ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices
  • Conduct technical reviews, approve engineering designs and specifications, and coordinate project activities and engineering tasks
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project development and execution, providing expertise during project development and implementation both remotely and on site
  • Supervise and oversee all activities of RES Engineering Specialist(s)
  • Perform CAPEX estimations of RES projects, attend site visits, FAT, and SAT as required, and support the contractual negotiation with EPC contractors regarding technical areas such as equipment specifications and testing
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in PV technology and renewable energy, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on PV systems
  • Previous experience in supervising a team
  • Proven track record in design and construction of PV parks
  • Proficiency with engineering software and tools
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, and power electronics
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
  • Very good knowledge of Autocad, MS Word and Excel
