Starting with the role:

 

Currently, we are searching to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Financial Reporting & Consolidation Team.

During your day you will:

 

  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and preparation of consolidated MORE Group financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS principles, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Perform the month-end close process and the completion of annual statutory accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in line with Group deadlines.
  • Verify reconciliations of intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting across Group entities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, Group Internal Audit, and other advisors, supporting audit processes with required documentation and analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls under the direction of the Head of Financial Reporting & Consolidation, ensuring effective risk mitigation across payments, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and accruals.
  • Contribute to financial reporting integration for acquisitions, mergers, and joint ventures, supporting the treatment of complex transactions and ensuring alignment with Group financial principles.
  • Support implementation, updates and modifications of ERP and financial reporting systems.

 

What you need to stand out:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related discipline.
  • Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting will be considered a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years previous working experience in Finance, Accounting or other related functions.
  • Experience in SAP environment & and Financial Reporting (incl. BPC) systems.
  • Accounting or similar professional qualifications (ACCA, CFA etc.) (considered as an asset).
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written).
