During your day you will:

  • Overview the external partner activities regarding the outsourced accounting office for CORE Innovations (CI) Retail Business and performs respective accounting reconciliations and reporting.
  • Perform regular on-site visits to CI stores regarding:
    • cash counts and debit-credit accounts’ reconciliation (weekly)
    • partial inventory of stocks (monthly)
    • full inventory of stocks (quarterly)
  • Prepare Financial Results reports for CI management.
  • Investigate on a regularly basis any slow-moving stock and sales with zero or negative margin and proposes respective corrections
  • Manage the maintenance of Accounting Controls and System Integrity in order to ensure alignment of IT Systems specifications to Business Specifications
  • Facilitate the identification and resolution of accounting system errors and inefficiencies in a timely manner and proposes/oversees the implementation of respective improvements to streamline the existing processes.
  • Ensure compliance of CI business to:
    • company policies, processes and Manual of Authorities

What you need to stand out:

  • University Degree in Supply Chain/ Logistics, Business Administration or related discipline
  • A Post Graduate Degree will be considered a plus
  • At least 2 years of working experience preferably in retail sector
  • Experienced MS Office User
  • Fluency in English and Greek, both oral and written
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Teamwork spirit & collaboration
  • Planning and time management skills
