We are searching to hire a Structural Mechanical Engineer  to design and evaluate elaborate technical drawings for complex Solid Waste Management Plants and Water Treatment Facilities

Κύριες Αρμοδιότητες Ρόλου

  • Designs mechanical drawings of machinery (conveyor belts, chain conveyors, metallic structures)
  • Designs pipe and duct works (i.e. compressed air networks, dedusting networks, water, and wastewater management networks) incorporating the necessary machinery (i.e. pumps, compressors, filters)
  • Evaluates technical drawings produced by Third Parties and integrates parts (i.e. equipment, machinery, drawing blocks) in the working drawings of the project.
  • Checks technical compatibility of design works produced by third parties (i.e. architectural, civils, electromechanical works).
  • Evaluates technical specifications of machinery and equipment and prepares plant technical documentation
  • Supports the erection, commissioning, and startup of solid waste treatment plants by reporting technical malfunctions and damages in machinery, monitoring structural performance and evaluating excessive wear in machinery parts during operation.

 

Κύρια Προσόντα

  • Technical degree in Design (Structural, Mechanical) or University degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Master’s degree will be considered an asset
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role in construction industry. Experience in Solid Waste and energy/ renewables sector construction projects would be considered a plus.
  • Excellent Knowledge on 2D and 3D Design (preferable Autocad and Inventor)
  • Knowledge on other programs (i.e. Tekla, Solid Works, Altair SimSolid)
  • Very good command of the English language, written and verbal
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
