Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching for a Sustainability Senior Specialist to act as the focal point for ESG-related matters, develop and implement sustainability initiatives, ensure the sustainable procurement and be responsible to coordinate and ensure the collection of the ESG related data regarding the Company/ ies under their responsibility.
During your day you will:
- Cooperate with the respective GMs and work with the Departments of the Company/ ies under their responsibility to ensure the collection and input of the required data in the ESG Tool
- Ensure that the required data for the Group sustainability reports (under CSRD or any other standard) for the Company/ ies under their responsibility, are being prepared on time, with accuracy and quality
- Liaise with the Sustainability Controller for the Sustainability requirements and respective obligations to communicate the appropriate information to the respective GMs
- Be responsible to manage ESG related impact, risk and opportunities at a Company level/project level, in cooperation with the Head of Technical Sustainability for the Environmental and with the Head of Sustainability Reporting for the Social and Governance and support the latter with the double materiality
- Be responsible for the preparation of any ESG report at a Company level
- Cooperate with the Head of Technical Sustainability to implement the required Climate Change actions to be compliant with the respective regulations
- Communicate the requirements to develop policies and processes related to ESG at a Company level and monitor their creation and implementation, as well as the relevant established metrics and targets
- Be responsible to train the appropriate stakeholders and monitor the implementation of the sustainable Supply Chain requirements for the Company/ ies under their responsibility
- Schedule and conduct regular ESG trainings for the Company/ ies under their responsibility
- Be responsible to prepare replies for the inquiries/ questionnaires received, related to ESG and to review any ESG related information that will be shared to external parties, regarding the Company/ ies under their responsibility, in order to identify/ mitigate possible risks
- Communicate with internal/ external stakeholders for ESG matters that are related with the respective Company/ ies’ projects/ activities
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or other related field
- At least 4 years of experience in Facilities Management
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Business Administration or other related field will be considered as a plus
- Awareness of ESG global sustainability standards
- Familiarity with Project Management
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Proficient use of MS Office tools
