Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching to hire a Technical Advisor to be responsible for the overall management, upgrade, and maintenance of the hotel’s technical facilities and infrastructure, ensuring their safe, continuous, reliable, and efficient operation. The role contributes to maintaining high standards of quality and safety, planning and implementing technical projects and maintenance activities, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental legislation.

During your day you will:

• Be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and overall technical management of all hotel facilities and infrastructure (electrical and plumbing systems, elevators, fire protection systems, etc.)
• Ensure that all facilities operate in accordance with applicable technical standards, regulations, and relevant legislation
• Design and implement preventive and routine maintenance programs for the hotel’s equipment and facilities
• Manage and coordinate the response to emergency technical failures and repairs, ensuring the prompt restoration of facility operations
• Monitor the condition of building facilities and technical equipment and recommend maintenance, repair, or upgrade interventions where required
• Coordinate and supervise external technical contractors and partners involved in the operation and maintenance of the facilities, monitoring the quality, progress, and proper execution of works
• Manage and coordinate the hotel’s technical team, organizing daily activities and ensuring its effective operation
• Manage the inventory of technical materials and maintenance consumables
• Collaborate with all departments on matters related to the operation and maintenance of the hotel facilities
• Support the General Management and participate in the planning and preparation of upgrade, renovation, and improvement projects for the hotel facilities
• Conduct technical evaluations of equipment, project proposals, and technical solutions
• Be responsible for the tendering and evaluation process of technical proposals for projects and technical procurements
• Monitor and supervise the implementation of technical projects and work carried out by external contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure the proper completion of works and be responsible for the technical acceptance of projects and installations

What you need to stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
• Master’s degree in Engineering/ Project Management/ MBA or other related field will be considered as a plus
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role as a technical advisor or in technical project management
• Familiarity with the implementation of all relevant health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
• Proficient use of MS Office tools
