Starting with the role:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Treasury Specialist to join our Treasury team. This role is essential in managing the company’s liquidity, supporting trade finance operations, interest accruals management. The ideal candidate will bring a good treasury knowledge, SAP knowledge, experience in banking relationships, e-banking platforms and financial forecasting.
During your day you will:
- Oversee daily cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity levels by correctly manage & forecast the daily cash position of all Companies of the Coral Group.
- Manage and execute payments via e-banking platform or with the use of cheques, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle trade finance instruments including Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong day-to-day transactional relationships with banking institutions to support treasury operations.
- Monitor bank commissions and interest charges, addressing any discrepancies or service quality issues.
- Participate in planning the company’s financial liquidity to support operational and strategic needs via the use of short – term and long – term loans.
- Participate in budgeting processes and contribute to long-term financial planning.
- Record and manage accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Deliver detailed daily reports on the usage and allocation of company funds.
- Help maintain an accurate and up-to-date list of e-banking users and access rights.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.
- Act as a key point of contact and provide treasury-related support to internal stakeholders, including the Financial Reporting, Supply Chain, Tax, and other Accounting departments, ensuring alignment and smooth coordination across functions.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in various treasury projects according to departmental needs.
- Ensure adherence to Corporate Treasury guidelines, policies, and procedures; recommend and implement process improvements.
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/ Finance/ Business or other related field
- Master’s degree in in Finance or Banking will be considered an asset
- Relevant experience of 1 - 3 years in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Banking Field or Financial management.
- Strong interest in corporate treasury, cash management, and banking operations.
- Basic understanding of financial instruments and payment methods.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Proficient use of MS Office tools
- Fluency in English and Greek, both oral and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
