Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire an experienced Maintenance & Project Engineer

based in Perama, Attika.

During your day you will:

  • Support Engineering Manager in capex planning, controlling, reporting and project ranking and investment tracking
  • Ensure projects will be within budget, delivered on time and according to local and international quality standards and without any HSSE incident
  • Lead a team of foremen and technicians and manage contractors, with main responsibility the scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance plan, along with any related corrective actions
  • Support technical, operational, or administrative projects
  • Support implementation of new CMMS and coordinate CMMS team when system becomes productive
  • Monitor the operation of Terminal effluent system and solid waste disposal to ensure that legislative requirements are fulfilled
  • Monitor the operation of Steam Production system to ensure that legislative requirements are fulfilled and optimize fuel consumption
  • Support new fuels initiatives, Biofuels or other differentiated fuel launches
  • Monitor adherence of depot operations to Shell standards ensuring compliance
  • Ensure IT operations within Storage and Handling are in line with IT Security standards and policies
  • Act as Storage & Handling focal point for IT-related applications (SAP, TMS)

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with state accreditation
  • MBA or additional relevant studies will be considered a plus
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in Oil & Gas sector as a Project Engineer, Maintenance, Optimization or Process Engineer or other relevant position
  • Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel and MS Project
  • Knowledge of SAP environment will be preferred
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
