Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Perama, Athens.
During your day you will:
- Ensure business continuity by making sure that all maintenance activities are carried out as planned
- Resolve specific problems regarding safety
- Inspect and evaluate maintenance works in progress
- Keep records for Equipment maintenance history (Inspection Records, Work Orders, Maintenance Reports, Safety Meetings Minutes, Contracts, Invoices, Procedures, International Standards)
- Provide technical support for repairs
- Monitor the operation of Terminal effluent system and solid waste disposal to ensure legislative requirements are kept
- Provide support to TM and Engineering Manager with regard to legislative required records and ISO management system, relevant to caring and maintaining Terminal equipment as well as formal records and registries
- Provide 1st level check on payments of materials and services from maintenance and repair activities and carry out admin tasks
- Monitor the operation of Steam Production system to ensure legislative requirements are kept and optimize fuel consumption
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with state accreditation
- MBA or additional relevant studies will be considered an asset
- 5-8 years of professional experience in contract management and mechanical equipment maintenance practices
- Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel and MS Project
- Knowledge of SAP environment will be preferred
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
