Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team.

During your day you will:

  • Oversee the daily management of payment flows and be focal point of communication for ongoing accounts payable (AP) issues.
  • Serve as the primary contact person for suppliers regarding payment-related matters.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely processing of payments.
  • Review, verify, and approve invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in process automation projects aimed at improving AP procedures, contributing ideas and providing support in the implementation of automated tools and systems.
  • Actively support the internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and analysis for auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline AP-related processes and implement improvements.
  • Contribute to the establishment of best practices in the accounts payable process and suggest improvements in workflows and payment procedures.

What you need to stand out:

  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes and payment systems, will be considered as a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with financial systems, preferably SAP, is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with automation tools and process improvements will be considered a plus.
