Starting with the role:
Currently, we are searching to hire an Accounts Payable Supervisor who will lead and oversee the Accounts Payables function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end RTP services in compliance with financial, tax, and internal control frameworks.
Act as a key business partner, driving process improvements, supporting transformation initiatives, and ensuring high team performance across multiple entities.
During your day you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop the AP team, ensuring high performance and alignment with SLAs and KPIs
- Allocate workload effectively to optimize productivity and service quality
- Act as escalation point for complex operational and technical issues
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and MoA
- Monitor control reports and ensure timely resolution of exceptions
- Ensure accuracy of reconciliations and open items management
- Oversee payment processing and ensure compliance with bank cut-off times
- Ensure smooth execution of payment cycles considering internal/external dependencies
- Monitor and report team KPIs with focus on efficiency, accuracy and timeliness
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights
- Support implementation of systems (e.g. SAP, automation tools)
- Identify and drive process improvements and digitalization initiatives
- Represent AP in cross-functional projects
What you need to stand out:
- University Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Accounting
- 2-3 years experience in a Team Leader role -within Accounting- will be considered a plus
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and controls
- SAP S/4HANA experience
- Excellent knowledge of MS Suite (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Visio)
- Excellent use of the Greek and English language
- Proven team leadership and people management experience
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
