Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching to hire a Category Buyer (Engineering, Materials, Business Services) to execute the category operational activities (including managing the bidding process) related to Procurement of MOH Commercial Subsidiaries (AVIN, Coral, CI, Coral Gas, nrg), following MOH procurement policies and processes, support the relationship management with suppliers and implement procurement and sourcing strategies.

 

 

 

During your day you will:

  • Support the implementation and execution of the procurement plan (from sending the RFP to suppliers to acquisition and receipt of goods and services, including the bidding process), ensuring the conformity with the MOH Group Procurement Standards
  • Collaborate with MOH Commercial Subsidiaries’ business units to understand business needs
  • Receive requests to coordinate purchasing activities with Category’s current and anticipated demands
  • Ensure all selected suppliers are compliant to service level agreements by resolving discrepancies if they arise
  • Support the Category’s procurement process by:
    • Participating in the negotiation of contract terms and the facilitation of claims/complaints resolutions
    • Monitoring purchase orders and the respective contracts to identify and deal with possible claims successfully and in a timely manner
  • Maintain and regularly updates suppliers’ database, including the monitoring of current contract termination dates.
  • Create reports for the management to highlight important information for the Category’s procurement’s procedures using reporting tools
  • Support the evaluation of suppliers along with their financial offers to achieve best deals, servicing Category’s best interest
  • Conduct other administrative activities, as requested, including liaising with the Finance department to ensure the smooth execution of purchasing deals
  • Recommend improvements related to Category’s procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness and proposes new and innovative procurement practices

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Business Administration or any other related field
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or any other related discipline will be considered as a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience within the Procurement function
  • Knowledge of using supply chain management software and tools, including SAP
  • Knowledge of market trends and procurement related ESG considerations (preferable)
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools
