We are searching to hire a Category Buyer.

The purpose of the role is to execute the category operational activities (including managing the bidding process) related to Procurement of Motor Oil Commercial Subsidiaries (AVIN, Coral, CI, Coral Gas, nrg).

Location: Perissos

During your day you will:

Support the implementation of the procurement plan ensuring the conformity with the MOH Group Procurement Standards

•             Receive requests to coordinate purchasing activities with Category’s current and anticipated demands

•             Ensures all selected suppliers are compliant to service level agreements

•             Supports the Category’s procurement process by:

- Participating in the negotiation of contract terms

- Monitoring purchase orders and the respective contracts to identify and deal with possible claims successfully

•             Maintain and regularly update suppliers’ database, including the monitoring of current contract termination dates

•             Analyze data for the supplier evaluation process and ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory framework

•             Recommend improvements related to Category’s procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness

•             Foster relationships and support the negotiation with vendors/suppliers to achieve targets and to expand the base

•             Continually examine the local and regional market for new vendors or subcontractors

•             Support activities related to Category’s budget preparation

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Business Administration or any other related field
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or any other related discipline will be preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience within the Procurement/Logistics function
  •  Knowledge of using supply chain management software and tools, including SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
